Privacy Policy

Your trust matters to us. Here’s exactly what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Effective date: September 14, 2026  •  Last updated: September 14, 2026

CozyTurn Interactive LLC (“CozyTurn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) makes cozy, heartwarming games and runs cozyturngames.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site, play our games, or contact us, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it — wherever in the world you’re located, including under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), other U.S. state privacy laws, Canada’s PIPEDA, Brazil’s LGPD, and similar frameworks. If you don’t agree with this policy, please don’t use the Site or our games.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you use our Contact form, this includes your name, email address, and the content of your message. If you sign up for updates or community access, we collect your email address and any profile details you choose to add.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we (and our hosting and analytics providers) may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps, typically via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

Information from our games. If you play a CozyTurn game, we or our distribution platforms (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play) may collect device identifiers, gameplay and progression data, crash and performance logs, and, only where a game offers them, in-app purchase records and optional account or social features. We do not knowingly collect precise geolocation, biometric, or financial account data through our games.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as racial or ethnic origin, health, or religious beliefs) and ask that you not include such details when contacting us.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to your messages and provide customer support;
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our games;
  • Understand how people use the Site through aggregated analytics;
  • Send you updates, newsletters, or announcements you’ve opted into, and let you opt out at any time;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles of children (see Section 10).

If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on:

  • Consent — for optional cookies, marketing emails, and similar choices you actively make;
  • Contract — to respond to your inquiries or provide features you request;
  • Legitimate interests — to secure and improve the Site and games, prevent fraud, and understand aggregate usage, balanced against your rights; and
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the Site (such as remembering security settings) and, where enabled, analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies and give you a way to withdraw it. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; note that blocking essential cookies may affect how the Site functions.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who host our Site, send email, or provide analytics on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
  • App distribution platforms (e.g., Apple, Google) as required to deliver and operate our games;
  • Professional advisors and authorities where necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect our rights, users, or the public; and
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy’s protections continuing to apply.

We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

6. International Data Transfers

CozyTurn is based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed or stored in the U.S. or other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your home jurisdiction. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on legally recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, contact-form messages are retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for a reasonable period after for record-keeping, unless a longer period is required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information. This includes rights under the GDPR (EEA/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California), and the growing group of comprehensive U.S. state privacy laws (including, among others, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and similar states), as well as Canada’s PIPEDA and Brazil’s LGPD:

  • Right to know / access — what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • Right to correct — inaccurate personal information;
  • Right to delete — your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions;
  • Right to portability — to receive your data in a portable format;
  • Right to restrict or object — to certain processing, including profiling;
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • Right to opt out — of the sale or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising (we do not currently engage in either); and
  • Right to non-discrimination — for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at
support@cozyturngames.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days). You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If you’re in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Notice to California Residents

In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1, which may fall under the CCPA/CPRA categories of identifiers, internet or network activity, and commercial information (such as inquiry or purchase records). We collect and use this information for the business purposes described in Section 2. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding 12 months. California residents may exercise the rights listed in Section 8 by contacting us at
support@cozyturngames.com.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our games are designed to be family-friendly, but the Site and our general services are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). Where a specific game is directed at children, we design it to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and similar laws, including limiting data collection and avoiding behavioral advertising to children. If we learn we’ve collected personal information from a child without appropriate parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe we may have such information can contact us at
support@cozyturngames.com.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site and our games may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as app stores or social platforms) that have their own privacy practices. We aren’t responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

13. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there’s no common industry standard for responding to these signals yet, our Site does not currently respond to them differently than described in this policy.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

15. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at support@cozyturngames.com or through our Contact page.

This page provides general information about our privacy practices and is not legal advice. Privacy laws vary and change by jurisdiction; if you need this policy tailored to your specific legal obligations, we recommend having it reviewed by a qualified attorney.
